I'm Every Woman & Every Woman is Me, "Pamper Me Day" Recap!

1st Annual Women's Toiletries Drive Giveaway

"Pamper Me Day!"

On Saturday, October 1, 2011, I'm Every Woman & Every Woman is Me Organization hosted it's 1st Annual Women's Toiletries Drive Giveaway at The Valley Place Family Transitional Home. This awe-inspiring day of giving wasn't only about the Toiletries Drive but also a day of pampering for the mother's and children who reside in this facility.

Tameika Marrow-Wilson, founder of I'm Every Woman & Every Woman is Me Non-Profit Organization, mentioned during her mini speech of being shocked of her findings of families living in Transitional Homes across the United States paying for their own toiletries while living below the poverty average.  Disturbed, she decided to seek ways to support families by easing some of their worry's while they focus to rebuild their lives.

The Valley Place Family Transitional Home is located in South East Washington D.C. This home provides housing for families rebuilding from life's toughest circumstances. This Facility offers 24 hour Transitioning Programming Services. This facility also house up to 18 families. Each family is welcomed to live while transitioning for up to 2 years. The Valley Place Transitional Home is Government funded, however the funds are limited. If you wish to help out this Family Support Agency, feel free to visit it's website: The Valley Place Family Transitional Home.
