Zekiah Farms: Pumpkin Patch

On Sunday October 10, 2010 My Husband & I, along with some close friends of ours, decided to take our children to the Pumpkin Patch. Zekiah Farms was the Farm of choice because of the great reviews of their Famous Corn Mazes. I personally have never been inside a Corn Maze & thought it would be a great first time experience for the whole family.

Upon arrival, we ate a snack & proceeded strait towards the Mini Corn Maze. The Mini Corn Maze was about thigh length to an adult. We had a great time in the Mini Maze. Through out the Maze, We had to read the clues on the mark post & memorize them. Below is a short video of our adventures in the Mini Maze:

Now as you can see, we were laughing & playing in the Mini Corn Maze. Just having ourselves a good old time.

After the Mini Corn Maze Experience, We went to visit the Large Corn Maze. The Larger Corn Maze was about 7 feet tall. Our experience in the Larger Maze started off fun. We had our maps in hand, & began our adventure with laughter & excitement..... About 20 min. into the Maze, We all realized we were lost. We were stuck in the Large Corn Maze for about 45min in 80 degree weather.  We had no extra food or drinks with us. The Sun was beaming on our heads. Tempers began to flare & children began to cry. One of the children asked, "Are we going to die in here?" That's how scary things became. I began to get claustrophobic & started freaking out!..lol That was not the best of experiences. I did video recorded our experience in the Larger Corn Maze but I decided not to post it. LMBO! Kids were crying, Adult were fussing. That particular video didn't show or resemble a positive family outing...We all laugh about being lost in the Corn Maze now, but at the time, it was not funny.

Over all, this was a fun Family Outing. We all rode on the Hayride Trailer, Fed the Animals in the Petting Farm, Played games, Face Painting, Ate lunch,  Picked Pumpkins, Brought Seedless Watermelon & Red Hot Chili Peppers...
